Frequency delta sigma modulation (FDSM) is a unique analog to digital conversion technique featuring large dynamic range with wide frequency band width. It can be used for high performance digital-output sensors, if the oscillator in FDSM replaced by variable whose depends on certain external physical quantity. One of most important parameters governing these sensors phase noise oscillator. The an essential error source FDSM, and it quite this type because they use extremely oversampling ratio. In paper, we will discuss quantitative effects output basis simple model. model was validated experiments three types oscillators.
